General architecture design thesis prioritise buildings as iconic objects, thesis projects governed and motivated primarily with self-interests. However, through out my entire study in Master of Architecture, I specifically focused on cultivating deeper awareness of architecture in the way it should rather engage the completeness of the built environment, and not mere buildings that stand apart from each other. The underlying intention of this studio is to firstly bring greater contextual clarity, followed by each student’s thesis project fitting in the creation of positive space in-between, governed by the network of existing human relationships. Making the importance of space in-between and relationships the core value of this studio, as students venture and explore differing ideas.
