OUR COMPANY LIT is a multi-venue entertainment company targeting the young night-goers of NYC. Its objective is to establish itself as a chic, sophisticated nightclub . Lit- The state of being so intoxicated (regardless of the intoxicating agent) t hat all the person can do is smile, so that they look lit up like a light.

VISUAL ELEMENTS Lit’s design is focused around accessible, streamlined luxury. It is simple and minimalistic in color and nature, using only black and white for the color palette and sans serif fonts. Due to the younger audience, the logos are made to be simple and easily recognizable through social media. Because they are so minimal, they are easily transferable to business cards, brochures, and menus. The posters are even more minimal, the information only presented through the QR codes on the bottom right hand corners. This carefully designed lack of text on the posters insinuates a theme of mystery, exclusivity, and a “less marketing the better� strategy.
FONTS Our typography style is inspired by the font BEBAS NEUE. Being a simple sans script font, it represents simplicity and boldness simultaneously. Our goal was to create a logo that would be easily recognisable and carries an exclusive vibe.
TARGET AUDIENCE Our target audience are the young, sophisticated night-goers of the city: we want our advertising to reflect an exclusive and intriguing venue. A venue that people talk about and wait hours in line to experience.
