Stock Market on 26th August 2014 US Stock closed on positive note on Monday, NASDAQ closed 0.41% up while Dow closed 0.44% up and S&P closed 0.48% up. Europe closed on mixed note, DAX closed 1.83% up, CAC closed 2.10% up and FTSE closed 0.05% down. SGX Nifty trading flat to positive, 2 point down at 8 AM.

Technical While the market has suffered some selling after posting yet another new high for the index, it has not become that weak to suggest the bulls would need to be on the back foot right away.
