Healthy Snack Tips from LCCAA

Protein makes a great snack for growing kids. Here are some ideas to keep on hand for your little ones:

- Fish (canned tuna, salmon, sardines, whitefish)

- Peanut butter or other nut butters (smooth, spread on whole grain bread or crackers.

- Edamame beans or chick peas, hummus spreads'

- Cooked tofu cubes or tofu dip

- Hard-boiled eggs
