Press Release November 16, 2017 Ice Cream Social hosted by Pink Chicken and New Territories NYC Parents and children are invited to play at the “Ice Cream Social” in collaboration with children wear’s brand Pink Chicken and trendy Lower East Side ice cream parlor New Territories. Families will be able to explore the new collection full of bright prints and soft cotton knits and textiles, and even get to customize sweaters with a variety of fun pins and colorful pompoms. There will also be an ice cream bar where you can choose from delicious ice cream flavors and play around with mixing and matching toppings. The event will take place at Prime Gallery on 97 Allen St starting from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come and supports your local talent and businesses, and enjoy a different kind of afternoon full of treats, desserts and fashion!
About Pink Chicken Stacey Fraser in Amagansett, New York created pink Chicken. Taking a break from corporate life and finding her footing as a new mother, Stacey used her daughter's naptime to sew clothes from the fabrics she'd collected over the years. She combined prints, Indian cottons, and American vintage, all of them so perfectly mismatched, and whipped up little sundresses for her daughters, and tunics for herself. These were clothes that went from beach to barbecue, park to play date; with a day-into-dinner kind of ease, they solved practically every get-dress dilemma.
New Territories Created in 2016, New Territories’ mission was to bring the traditional flavors of Hong Kong to the dessert-inclined community of New York City. The photogenic creations at New Territories combine the trending Hong Kong bubble waffle street snack with local artisan ice cream. Their elaborate milkshakes also go by elaborate names, such as Unicorn Parade and Mr. Grumpy. Their inviting atmosphere is filled with visuals that remind the customers that things don’t always have to make sense.
