The programme, which is a key part of the “The Kingdom is Muslims’ Destination” initiative is said to also permit business visa holders to take advantage of this opportunity. Umrah visa holders are no longer restricted to only visiting Makkah and Al Madinah and can also see the country’s landmarks, historical sites, tourist attractions and shopping centres.
