here are traits of the great. And I’ve always said that successful people leave clues. For the ultimate transformation, not only must you take the necessary steps to change, you must acquire the qualities of greatness that will empower you to make your change permanent. Being your best is about acquiring all the qualities of greatness and making them your own. Take an active role to change whatever isn’t at it’s best concerning you. Most of us are quite aware of the areas in which we are lagging. For the record though stop and take a few moments right now and list the self-improvements you know need to be made. What changes have you been longing to make? What have been the hang ups you have had in the past?

What has been your one vice? Most of us can quickly pinpoint our shortcomings that have plagued us for years. Whatever your issue, declare, “today is fix it day!” Don’t wait for tragedy or to be backed up against the wall to make the changes necessary to have a great life. Begin today. It’s never too late to improve and begin to be your best. God multiplies our efforts when we give our very best, there are a number of qualities that are important. However, from my observation as I coach many of the world’s top achievers, there are a number of characteristics that are universal. 2. Get It In Print

Yes, prints are in this season, but print is always in when it comes to penning your goals and dreams.

Be a Goal setter. All achievers set goals! Without setting goals to attain in life becomes mundane. Days will float by without any significant accomplishment. Your written goals will help you stay focused on future wins. You won’t become your best self without on purpose action to get there. Make time today to write down your goals. Then write a list of actions steps that will help you meet that goal. Review your goals and take action daily to stay on track for success

3. Be a Minimalist...

When it comes to distractions, keep it at a minimum. The

o one “makes it” by chance. Having the opportunity to mingle with many high level achievers, while on my own success journey, I’ve learned what it takes to truly be successful. As I travel the country helping my peers create successful lives they can be proud of, I’ve discovered there are many components that must all come together to make your dreams come true, but the biggest factor is YOU. Your determination, diligence and proper application of fail-proof success principles will take you much farther than talent ever could. The following principles will get you started on your journey to Making It Big.

1. Get a Goal. A great life begins with solid goals. Write down your goals and review them daily. This will help you to sharpen your focus. Accomplishing your goals makes life fun, purposeful and exciting! A day without goals is like jumping in the car and driving without any destination in mind. Add direction to your dreams with long term and short term goals. Stop and think about your dreams. What do you want to do? What action steps can you take right now to head in

that direction? Write it down. As you break your dreams into smaller yet challenging daily goals you will begin to build the life you want. Having the proper goals and taking action daily, is the deciding factor in whether you will make it big, or make it at all.

2. Learn to Love the Grind.

To make it at anything, you must work hard and love it! Your dream life and great success doesn’t come with an excessive amount of rest. I only allow myself to rest or play when I have completed my goals for the day. Every 24 hours is precious, so I make the most of it. A great work ethic does wonders for getting dreams done. So, it’s time to get busy! And by the way: there’s a huge difference between being busy, and being productive – productive means that you’re actually getting stuff done daily. Consider this: What can you do for 30 minutes a day that would put you ahead of the game? My Mom always says, “Everything you want is on the other side of what you won’t do.” It’s cool to have fun and chill with your friends but I always evaluate myself at the end of each day. Never spend more time chillin’ than you do challenging yourself to reach your goals.


3. Focus on your Finish

SMALL WORLD, BIG DIFFERENCE! Presently Ariana spends most of her time traveling and coaching young people across the country how to “Make It Big.”

Sometimes your goals can look gigantic, and it feels like success will take forever. Each day just remember to stay focused on the end result. See the outcome you desire from the very beginning. I create vision boards and have my Purpose Portfolio handy to help me keep my success in sight. This way, I always have a clear view of what I’m working for. When you see where you want to be, it will help you stay motivated and keep moving. Never allow yourself to get overwhelmed. Imagine yourself completing the task and accomplishing the goal.

4. Set your Attitude for Success

First things first, attitude is really everything and determines your level of success. Having the right attitude can open up doors that otherwise wouldn’t be open to you based on talent alone. My brother is a great example of this. He was invited along with me on location of a movie filming. Ryan is a likeable kind of guy, very mature for his age, approachable and has a great attitude. Because of this, he had an opportunity to meet top people including the director and producers. They were so impressed with his attitude that in a matter of moments he landed a significant role in the film. Did I mention he is only 13? I’m glad we learned this principle from our parents while we are young in life, because it is such a key to success. If you are going to “make it” then start today by creating a winning attitude. Practice being friendly, optimistic and enthusiastic in every setting you are in. Choose to have a “can do” determination and give your best and watch your opportunities soar.

5. Expand Your Brand with Social Media

I love social media and look forward to tweeting and posting to stay in touch with family and friends. While headed to the top, I realized that the wide world of social media can be an incredible business tool. I use it to network, make new business connections and expand my company! I stay productive with social media. When I am brainstorming about new posts I want to write for my Billionheir Club blog, I can pose questions on Twitter to my readers. This helps me learn what they want me to write about or who they want me to interview next! And because I am finding out what topics interest them, I create a bigger following.

6. Tackle the Habits that Take You to Success.

So you want to be successful? Well, in order to be a success and make it in this world, there are a few habits that you must tackle to get to the top. Although I do love a good football game, the type of tackling I’m talking about doesn’t involve the field or carrying a football. I’m talking about a purposeful change to overcome all lazy habits. This starts with a commitment to timeliness, excellence and diligence. Today is the day to make a habit shift. Get a journal and do an honest evaluation of yourself. What habit do you need to tackle? Are you always running late? Do you leave everything unfinished or incomplete? Is the work you do always just enough instead of your very best? Where do you lack diligence? Take a moment and write in your journal the #1 habit you need to develop and three action steps you can make to change. Then, write down a reward you can give yourself for making the change. Shifting your habits doesn’t have to be hard. It will just take a few small adjustments and focused effort and soon you will be on your way to the top and beyond. 8:15am I’m awake before my alarm goes off. With my makeup artist and hairdresser on the way, it’s time to start my day. 9:05am Quickly reviewing my notes as cars arrive to take my good friend Tyler Williams and I over to the venue. We have a few minutes to chat before walking through the conference center to greet hundreds of guests.

9:15am Show time! WOW! There are youth everywhere. They have come from all over the country to learn how to succeed. So glad we have an amazing line up for them. Now we’ve got to figure out how to pack everyone in here without alarming the fire marshall! LOL!

n a candid luncheon interview, with the svelte, new Dr. Stacia Pierce, our team learned that when it comes to weight, those willing to lose, often win big in life!

“Everything you want in life is on the other side of what you won’t do. This simple phrase has become a mantra of sorts for Dr. Stacia and a brand new generation of women that follow her lead. “I had gotten to the point where I wasn’t quite sure what to do, but I knew I had to do something!” I knew she was referring to her battle with her weight and health; yet coming from a woman who motivates the masses for a living, her candor came as quite a surprise. Her battle with weight had become the fight of her life, which at one time threatened to ruin her rise to the top. Eventually we all come to a crossroads in life where transformation is essential for advancement, survival or longterm success. “ I remember the day I chose to change. I took a good look at myself and knew I needed a plan of

Her toes; perfectly lacquered in Paparazzi Pink a signature color from her daughter’s nail polish line. With a mega-watt smile she genuinely thanks the server and we are back to our immensely interesting chat. Snacking on fresh fruit and melba toast, we talked for what seemed like a lifetime. “How did you lose control of your weight?” we questioned. “That’s simple I like good food” She laughes. “My mom is a great cook. So growing up, good times were expressed with good food.”

Breakfast: Egg white Omelet with Turkey sausage

Under the safety net of youth and a high metabolism, weight was never an issue for Dr. Stacia during the early years. However, years later, after her second child and the launch of an amazing career, her rapid success was accompainied by a consistant weight gain. “I had a wonderful childhood, but it caused me to form the wrong relationship with food. As an adult, I hated that I turned to food whenever I was happy or things were going well. I needed to find a different way to reward myself and celebrate my success.” Dr. Stacia’s body was reeling from an extensive schedule and eating habits which had fallen prey to her booming career. “I was tired and didn’t have time to meal plan. There were times where I was speaking in a different city every night.”

Get a Goal: However simple or small, goals help to push you towards achievement. Write your weight goals and review them daily. When waging war against excess weight, bring to mind simple goals like, being able to cross your legs while sitting or fitting a pair of jeans can provide loads of motivation.

Celebrate Your State Remember in your fight to stay fit, every pound, every inch lost is a victory! Celebrate the little things: lost 2lbs? Take a luxurious bath. Can fit those jeans that have been hanging on the door for a month? Take yourself to the spa. Celebrate the state of who you are and what you’ve accomplished all along the way, and you’ll achieve even greater goals.


Traveling extensively, she found herself constantly eating out of airports, where healthy food choices were nearly nonexistent. Her waistline was beginning to show the wonders of constant travel. “Becoming a world-class speaker in high demand was like a dream come true. Life Coaching is and has always been my life. It’s just who I am, but I was beginning to pay the price in pounds.” Late-night dinners, one social event after the other. The good-life guru seemed trapped in the midst of horrible eating habits. “I was just eating what I was served. I felt I was being rude if I didn’t eat.” As she recounts that season in her life, Dr. Stacia shared that she had almost reached a point of hopelessness when it came to having the body that she desired. “I was blessed with a tremendous amount of success, but I doubted if I would ever be thin. Though I was periodically battling my weight, I’d slowly gotten bigger until eight years later, I reached my breaking point.”

That breaking point Dr. Pierce speaks of came during a defining moment for Ariana her daughter and protege.` Ariana had gotten a tremendous break in her own career. Ariana’s new company, Superstar Nail Lacquer was skyrocketing and she was nearly living bi-coastal- constantly working back and forth between the mid-west and LA. “Strangely, my transformation moment came during a tremendous time of celebration. We were in LA with my daughter Ariana who was closing a huge deal for her company Superstar Nail Lacquer. We’d just wrapped an amazing photo shoot. t was a brisk Saturday morning as I walked into the unassuming studio not quite ready for what I was about to see. As I moved through the corridor, the closer I got, I could feel the buzz building. On the outside, it appeared to be a regular corporate photography studio. On the inside was activity equivalent to a full-fledged fashion week. I felt like I was standing in the middle of Bryant Park waiting for the next who’s who to take their place on the coveted front row.
