COMPLIANCE, QUALITY & SAFETY – CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT LEAN PRINCIPLES The key to Lean implementation is recognizing the difficulty in seeing waste and in applying appropriate steps to reduce it. This 7-hour session focuses on introducing Lean Thinking as a methodology for identifying and eliminating non-value-added or wasteful elements in an organization. It will help participants define and understand the different types of waste that exist in an organization as viewed by customers.
WORKPLACE ORGANIZATION 7S Customers, employees and suppliers can tell a well-run organization without a narrated tour. The visual clues are everywhere. Establishing simple visual controls is one of the most important elements of becoming a Lean and Green Enterprise. 7S reduces the opportunities to make errors and help highlight, at an early stage, potential delays and disruptions and drives an organization to becoming green at the grassroots level. 7S is much more than “a place for everything and everything in its place.” 7S consists of seven principles to make people highly efficient, effective and greener in performing their work. This one-day session will provide the participants with the principles of 7S.

CONNECTIVITY: RESPECT AND COMMUNICATION ACROSS A 40-YEAR-WIDE WORKFORCE
Millennials appear to be the focus of critique as people jab at the attitudes, expectations and styles stereotyped onto them. The truth is that each generation is both the product of, and a reaction against those who came before them. While this contributes to disconnection, there are ways to build new bridges across this diverse landscape. This training will offer the social building materials of appreciative inquiry, enculturation and bias detection that will help you significantly improve intergenerational connectivity.
