Amy still holds the all-time putout record here at Shasta and was a 2-time All-GVC 1st team selection for the Lady Knights. She was also named 1994 ASA National Tournament MVP and All-American for the now famous “Nor-Cal Shots” women’s fast-pitch National Champions. After her time at Redlands University and Chico State, Amy married Ron Knowles and they have 4 beautiful children, Thurman, Makenze, Tucker and Turner!

Eric is in his first year on the coaching staff for Shasta College Softball. Eric joins staff while continuing to coach the 16-yearold NorCal Rage softball team, as well as the 14-year-old NorCal Rage baseball team. Although the baseball team is only in its second year, the softball team has been together for over 6 years. Eric has played baseball at several levels, to include junior college, NAIA, and Division 1 at UC Davis. He graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences, then continuing to receive a Master of Arts Degree in Education from Simpson University in 2005. Immediately following, he served as head coach for Liberty Christian High school for four years. Following his tenure at Liberty Christian, Eric started his family and has served the county for Shasta for over 15 years. His three children, Madison-Mae, Tyler and Trever all enjoy participating in any sport, including their favorite, which is surfing behind their boat on the lake.
Since then, Lacey has volunteered with the 18U Gold NW Silver Bullets program and with one-on-one lessons. Lacey is happy to be coaching and teaching again in the Redding area near her family. They love to go camping any chance they can.
