Maximize that closet space!

MY ADVICE TO CLIENTS looking to for a quick way to add value to their home is to show an abundance of closet space. Having the ability to easily access everything inside makes life so much easier! The right organizers make all the difference, especially if you’re tight on space or simply don’t want to commit to a new closet system. Here are some of our favorites:

VELVET help to clear up space on your precious hanging racks. They take up less room than other hangers, and prevent garments from slipping. You can find them for about $17 for a pack of 20 on amazon.com; or splurge a little and get them in designer colors at containerstore.com.

UNDERSHELF BASKETS are great if you have limited shelf space. Slideon wire baskets hang on your existing shelves and are perfect for utilizing the wasted space below. Plus no tools or hardware are required for installation. You can also find them at the containerstore.com for about $12 each.

SHOE SHELVES are great because you can stack them on top of one another, allowing you to store as many pairs as possible. I really like the wood-slat kind the best; you can find similar ones at Homegoods or a nice stackable white version at target.com for $17.
