Huskie Line Bus utilizes the ETA Spot app to provide real-time bus tracking capabilities. You can track your bus by visiting dekalbpublic. etaspot.net or by downloading the app free of charge in the Google Play or Apple App Store.

Paratransit Services

The city of DeKalb provides transportation services as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These services are funded by the state of Illinois, the Federal Transit Administration and Northern Illinois University. Students must be certified to use the paratransit service. To be certified, please contact the city’s paratransit service provider, Transdev Services Inc. at 815-420-5500 to request an application. Applications can also be downloaded from the city’s website.

*Route 12 (Elburn Metra Station) Starting Aug. 21: During full-service weekdays, Route 12 will increase from six to seven morning trips. For afternoon trips, the route will increase from five to seven. One additional evening trip will be offered Sunday nights. During break service weekdays, four morning and afternoon trips will be offered instead of the three morning and afternoon trips currently offered.

FARE STRUCTURE: All routes are free to NIU OneCard-holding students and faculty.
