Welcome to the Annual Geneva Arts Fair
We are excited to be able to feature talented artisans from all over the country. Patrons can purchase their original works of art and have the unique opportunity to meet exhibiting artists, learn the sources of their inspirations and ask questions about techniques. Thanks to the support of our generous sponsors, visitors can enjoy stunning displays of artistry for free.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this award-winning Arts Fair on July 29 & 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. On Saturday, “Awards of Excellence” will be presented to our most outstanding 2-D and 3-D artists.
Once again, the expertise and products of Plandscape Inc. will transform the intersection of South Third and Franklin streets into a comforting, breathtaking display of foliage and color. Stop by the Information Garden’s Booth with your questions about the Arts Fair, upcoming festivals or visiting Geneva. Purchase a bottle of water to take with you while perusing the artists’ booths.
If you’ve never visited Geneva, now is your chance to see to see our town, overflowing with comfort and charm on a beautiful summer day. Tucked away amidst the gorgeous Fox River Valley, downtown Geneva boasts more than 100 specialty shops located in historic storefronts and beautiful Victorian-style homes.
Take some time to visit local merchants and discover unique gifts. During the show, dine at one of Geneva’s fine downtown eateries along State and Third streets, Dodson Place and other nearby locations. There’s so much to see, arts fair-goers might want to extend their stay by planning a weekend get-away. After a day of art, shopping and dining, spend the night in gracious accommodations. Where:
Downtown Geneva on South Third Street, south of State Street (Route 38). Why not take the train and make it a trainstopportunity? Geneva’s train station is also located on South Third Street just blocks from the Geneva Arts Fair (Metra Union Pacific/West Line). For MapQuest purposes please use 100 S. Third St., Geneva.

Savor the flavor of Geneva during Festival of the Vine
For 44 years, Geneva has been celebrating the flavors of fall with Festival of the Vine. The centerpiece of this festival revolves around food in our Flavor Fare tent. The event runs September 8-10. See website below for exact times. Once again, this event will span James Street from South Fourth to Fifth streets. Everything you have come to expect and enjoy will be happening in 2023!
Geneva has a great number of fine restaurants showcased at the Flavor Fare along with glasses of unique wine to accompany your food, for purchase. The restaurants set up under one huge tent offering three of their favorite signature items. Visitors purchase tickets and buy a “taste” at one of the featured stalls in the tent. Versatile local and Chicago-land musical and dance entertainers will also be featured on the stage. Other events during the Festival include arts and crafts fair, merchant
wine events and seminars, horse drawn carriage rides plus great shopping in Geneva’s historic downtown.

Classic Car Shows – Thursday evenings in July and August; Fourth & James streets (Courthouse parking lot)
Whether you enjoy a “Little Deuce Coupe”, “Pink Cadillac” or “Little Red Corvette”, the Geneva Chamber car shows on Thursday nights, from 5-8 pm, in July and August will be a gas. It is an organized, but casual opportunity for collectors to gather together and showcase their cars
and motorcycles. Stroll the grounds of the historic Kane County Courthouse and enjoy downtown Geneva on a summer evening. Bring your family for something to eat, listen to great music and enjoy the wonderful community event. Just one more reason why downtown Geneva is the place to be. Geneva Concours d’Elegance – Aug. 27; Third Street between James and South streets Automobile enthusiasts will gather on Third Street to view a collection of the best classic, exotic and race automobiles that showcases the heritage, artistic and engineering significance of the automobile. Car participants from all over the Midwest will display their prized automobiles hoping to be awarded one of the coveted “Carl F. Benz” awards. From 10 am-4 pm....a great family event at no cost. Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival –Sep. 3-4; Island Park (Route 25 and Route 38)
