Your guide to the Peoria Farm Show Market outlooks, giveaways, free parking and what’s new PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria will once again host the Greater Peoria Farm Show Nov. 28-30 at the Peoria Civic Center. This year’s event is sponsored by Farmers Powering Communities, a cooperative project focused on protecting America’s most productive farm and ranch land while expanding renewable energy. Learn more at www.fpc. community. The group and more than 200 exhibitors are set to display the latest in agricultural products and services, along with educational seminars, multiple promotions and prize drawings for attendees. The event is free for attendees — and there is free parking at the Peoria Civic Center, which is located at 201 S.W. Jefferson Ave., courtesy of Farmers Business Network. “We are excited to be back hosting the Greater Peoria Farm Show at the Peoria Civic Center with the support of our sponsors and exhibitors. Attendance is free along with free civic center parking,” said Ron Bormaster, show manager. “We are also excited to, once again, be giving away a Kubota tractor package from German-Bliss Equipment on the last day of the show. It’s going to be a great three-day event.” SPECIAL EVENTS Todd Hultman, DTN grain market analyst, will present the 2024 Ag Market Outlook each day of the farm show — at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday. The Illinois Department of Agriculture will offer pesticide license testing
from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The testing will be offered on a walk-up basis. Each day of the farm show will kick off with complimentary coffee and rolls in the main exhibit hall. Early attendees can also enter to win the daily $1,000 Showbucks prize drawing, courtesy of Illinois AgriNews. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m. each day. Showbucks can be used as currency to purchase merchandise or services from any exhibitor. TRACTOR GIVEAWAY For the second year, one lucky winner will go home with a new Kubota tractor package from German-Bliss Equipment. Attendees will be able to register each day at the German-Bliss booth. Qual-

Custom Structured Agricultural Loans
Magnolia has wetland mitigation credits available to assist Illinois producers with Swampbuster compliance. Magnolia develops mitigation credits through the Illinois Conservation Exchange, an agricultural wetland mitigation banking program developed with support from the NRCS. Purchasing credits helps producers compensate for wetland loss on their property and remain in compliance with USDA wetland regulations. With Magnolia’s 5th bank site, credits are available to nearly every county in Illinois!
