Classic cars race back to the Tri-Cities for the return of the popular Geneva Concours d’Elegance

The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is returning this year on Sunday, August 27, 2023. It will be open to the public from 10:00am - 4:00pm on Geneva’s vibrant South Third Street. “People of all ages will enjoy strolling through a wonderful variety of the best classic, exotic and race automobiles that showcase the heritage, artistic and engineering significance of the automobile through the ages,” says Shelia Joynt from Concours d’Elegance. The event allows the additional opportunity to explore the many shops and dining options Geneva has to offer before, during, or after the event.

This year, over 170 cars will be on display on S. Third Street and the cross streets from State Street to South Street. Our Special Features this year will include the luxury cars of the Classic Era from 1920s - 1939, the Lincoln Continental, 100th Anniversary of the Springfield Rolls-Royce and Celebrating 75 years of the Chicagoland Region of the Sports Car Club of America . Two other special Features will be the Micro/Mini Cars and the “Tuner” cars. The show will also include vintage sports cars, race cars and modern exotics as well as a fine variety of collector cars up to 1976.

In addition to having the opportunity to see these amazing cars from yesteryear, Geneva Concours d’Elegance provides the benefit of supporting a vital organization - Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resources. LivingWell is a place where people may find common ground through the shared experience of a cancer diagnosis. It exists to provide compassionate care that empowers, encourages, supports and provides hope to cancer patients and their families.

“It’s not just about all the cars, but also the beneficiaries,” Barrett says. “Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resources with facilities in Geneva and Warrenville, is a great place with great programs that are free of charge for cancer patients, their loved ones and families.” The Geneva Concours d’Elegance supports their beneficiary Living Well Cancer Resources, through the generous donations from spectators, sponsors and car enthusiasts.
