In December of 2017, Owner Sylvia Torres opened Little Red Barn Door upstairs inside the Berry House on 3rd Street and, as of July 2020, Torres set up shop with a second location on the main floor. “Downstairs is a modern farmhouse feel with gifts and everything you can imagine buying for your home,” says marketing consultant Ashley Nakayama. “Upstairs is more of a rustic farmhouse aesthetic that includes seasonal products.”
Two years after establishing Little Red Barn Door, Torres welcomed Little Barn Baby just down the street and recently added a second location in Naperville. “Little Barn Baby has everything for little ones from newborn to 5t,” says Nakayama, “We carry heirloom quality products like wooden toys, books, and organic clothing.” Little Barn Baby is a warm and inviting boutique where you can find the perfect gift and be stress free while shopping with your kids. “You can always find something unique and different for any occasion,” says Nakayama.
Aside from running a flourishing set of small businesses, Torres also finds the time to give back—especially during the holiday season. “We are so honored to be able to sponsor Geneva’s Christmas Walk and House Tour this year. Geneva is such a magical place to be during the holidays, and we hope everyone has a chance to experience that magic this year,” Torres enthuses. “Our shops are situated right in the heart of downtown on historic 3rd Street and will be stocked to help with your gifting needs for little ones, teachers, Mom and more.
