Festival of the Vine Savor the flavor of Geneva during Festival of the Vine For 40 years, Geneva has been celebrating the flavors of fall with Festival of the Vine. The centerpiece of this festival revolves around food in our Flavor Fare tent. The event runs September 6-8 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at North Fourth and State streets. Times vary for food & wine purchase. Geneva has a great number of fine restaurants showcased at the Flavor Fare along with glasses of unique wine to accompany your food, for purchase. The restaurants set up under one huge tent offering three of their favorite signature items. Visitors purchase tickets and buy a “taste” at one of the featured stalls in the tent. Versatile local and Chicago-land musical and dance entertainers will also be featured on the stage. Other events during the Festival include arts and crafts fair, merchant wine events and seminars, flower market, trolley and horse drawn carriage rides plus great shopping in Geneva’s historic downtown.

We invite you to fall into fun at Geneva Chamber of Commerce’s Festival of the Vine. Check back in mid-August for a complete schedule of events, hours, and a brochure at http://www.genevachamber. com/festival_of_vine.php or call 630.232.6060.

Volunteer!!

The Geneva Chamber depends on hundreds of volunteers all year long. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to an area. Volunteering also strengthens your ties to the community and broadens your support network, exposing you to people with common interests, neighborhood resources, and fun and fulfilling activities. We have opportunities for all ages and all interests. If you would like to volunteer at an upcoming Geneva Chamber event, we want to hear from you, please call us at 630-232-6060.
