Welcome to the Annual Geneva Arts Fair

Welcome to the Annual Geneva Arts Fair. We are excited to be able to feature talented artisans from all over the country. Patrons can purchase original works of art and have the unique opportunity to meet exhibiting artists, learn the sources of their inspirations and ask questions about techniques. Visitors will have the opportunity to either purchase existing fine works of art or commission a special piece of art unique to your personal tastes. Thanks to the support of our generous sponsors, visitors can enjoy stunning displays of artistry for free.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this award-winning Arts Fair on July 27 & 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. On Saturday, “Awards of Excellence” will be presented to our most outstanding 2-D and 3-D artists. Once again, the expertise and products of Plandscape Inc. will transform the intersection of South Third and Franklin streets into a comforting, breathtaking display of foliage and color. Acoustic guitar melodies will fill the air from 12-2. Stop by the Information Garden’s Booth with your questions about the Arts Fair, upcoming festivals or visiting Geneva. Purchase a bottle of water to take with you while perusing the artists’ booths.

If you’ve never visited Geneva, now is your chance to see a picture-postcard town, overflowing with comfort and charm on a beautiful summer day. Tucked away amidst the gorgeous

Fox River Valley, downtown Geneva boasts more than 100 specialty shops located in historic storefronts and beautiful Victorian-style homes.

Take some time to visit local merchants and discover unique gifts. During the show, dine at one of Geneva’s fine downtown eateries along State and Third streets, Dodson Place and other nearby locations. There’s so much to see, arts fair-goers might want to extend their stay by planning a weekend get-away. After a day of art, shopping and dining, spend the night in gracious accommodations. For more information on planning a weekend trip, visit our website at www.genevachamber.com or call 630.232.6060.

The Arts Fair is supported by various community members. We thank all our artists, volunteers, businesses, sponsors and the City of Geneva who help to make this event a success.

If you enjoy the Geneva Arts Fair, be sure to mark your calendar for our next event, Festival of the Vine, September 6-8 on James between Fourth & Fifth streets in downtown Geneva. We will celebrate the autumn harvest with food and wine, a craft show, musical entertainment and special merchant events throughout town.

Enjoy your visit to beautiful Geneva.

Meet Marissa Amoni - Geneva Arts Fair coordinator

Hello!

Thank you for visiting this year’s Arts Fair in beautiful downtown Geneva. I’m beyond thrilled to be the new coordinator for Geneva Arts Fair, a uniquely original art fair that has become a tradition for the community and beyond. For over two decades, Geneva Arts Fair has built a strong reputation for showcasing incredible artistic talent from across the nation.

It’s my honor to continue the tradition of excellence for this award-winning Arts Fair on the last weekend of July. Please allow me to introduce myself, and I hope to see you in the booths.

I’ve been involved in the Fox Valley arts scene for nearly two decades in both my professional and personal pursuits. I founded and published Downtown Auroran Magazine, an arts and culture magazine which spanned eight years. I also founded Alley Art Festival with a group of artists, which continues as an annual event in downtown Aurora.

I am passionate about helping to grow communities through the arts. Art is a great healer. It makes us feel and think. To be able to purchase original works from the artists is special - it’s more than a transaction, it’s an interaction. From artists to collectors to students, we’ve all seen art inspire and change lives.

With 140 artists and thousands of attendees, Geneva Arts Fair will create many beautiful moments this weekend that will reach far beyond Third Street.

Enjoy the art of it!

Savor the flavor of Geneva during Festival of the Vine

For 45 years, Geneva has been celebrating the flavors of fall with Festival of the Vine. The centerpiece of this festival revolves around food in our Flavor Fare tent. The event runs September 6-8. See website below for exact times. Once again, this event will span James Street from South Fourth to Fifth streets. Everything you have come to expect and enjoy will be happening in 2024!

Geneva has a great number of fine restaurants showcased at the Flavor Fare along with glasses of unique wine to accompany your food, for purchase. The restaurants set up under one huge tent offering three of their favorite signature items. Visitors purchase tickets and buy a “taste” at one of the featured stalls in the tent. Versatile local and Chicago-land musical and dance entertainers will also be featured on the stage.
