THREE RIVERS PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT

T

hree Rivers Library remains a constant for the community, even during a global pandemic! Although both library buildings were closed for a portion of the spring, library services never shut down. Library staff worked to beef up our online library, from databases and eBooks available to our cardholders to virtual programs for all ages. Curbside pickup of materials and prints was instituted to help meet the needs of those who required or preferred physical materials, and our bookdrops remained open the entire time for patrons to return materials. Our wonderful, dedicated staff even still managed to run our Summer Reading Program virtually! Visit our website at www.trpld.org to see all of our bountiful online resources. Check out our physical collections – in addition to books, library patrons can walk out with magazines, audiobooks, music CD’s, DVD’s, graphic novels, eReaders, personal-sized scanners and even a mobile hotspot to provide internet access anytime, anywhere! While at the library, you can also use our computers, make copies, scan or fax documents, use our free wifi, or have documents notarized (by appointment only). While we don’t know what the future holds for us, please know that Three Rivers remains committed to serving our community to the best of our abilities, to remain a trusted resource for information, and promote the health, safety and well-being of Channahon and Minooka.
