Greetings

First and foremost, thank you for expressing your interest in the Village of Algonquin. Over the years, our Village leaders have worked hard to construct a financially resilient government in a community with an outstanding quality of life.

Not only is Algonquin an excellent opportunity for commerce, but it is also a thriving community situated in the natural beauty of the Fox River Valley. Our neighborhoods offer a wide-variety of housing opportunities with easy accessibility to shopping and dining experiences throughout the community, as well as excellent schools. Residents and visitors often enjoy the numerous parks, restored natural areas, and other recreational opportunities, such as those offered by the Fox River. Tree-lined streets, vast wooded hillsides, and our beautifully restored downtown district also add to the quaint character of our community.

In addition, Algonquin offers many opportunities for both new development and redevelopment throughout the area. We are actively redeveloping areas along Illinois Route 62 east of the Fox River and progressively developing our Corporate Campus located off of Randall Road, just south of our Randall Road Commercial Corridor. Both of these locations offer convenient access to major avenues of commerce, including other state routes and Interstate 90.

Since 1952, residents and businesses alike have come to Lake in the Hills because of its high quality of life and numerous amenities.
