EP Theater to present ‘Epic Fail’
Erie-Prophetstown Theater will be presenting its spring play “Epic Fail” on Wednesday, March 23, and Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m. at the Erie High School Commons.
The one-act comedy by Bradley Hayward will feature original scenes by Shea Winters and Heather Huizenga. Admission is $3, with tickets available at the door.
Farmers National Bank offering scholarships
Farmers National Bank is giving away three $500 scholarships for higher education. The scholarships will be given to one
high school senior from each of the Prophetstown, Geneseo and Morrison School Districts. The application and essay answering, “How have community banks been helpful during the pandemic?” are due to the FNB office in your school district by April 15. Applications may be picked up at the school.

Fulton Police
March 13 Jose C. Arreola-Vasquez of Moline was cited for speeding at Route 84 and 22nd Avenue. He was released with a promise to comply. March 14 A juvenile was cited for driving without lights when required and driving while license is suspended in the 600 block of 12th Avenue. The juvenile was released with a notice to appear. March 16 Bradley D. Wilson of Rock Island was cited for speeding and driving while license is revoked in the 1200 block of Fourth Avenue. He was released with a
notice to appear.
Morrison Police
Arrests On Tuesday, March 15, about 6:20 p.m., Morrison police arrested Roger C. Grant, 66, of Morrison pursuant to a body attachment – obstructing a court order issued by Whiteside County. Grant was released with a notice to appear. On Thursday, March 17, about 9:25 p.m., Morrison police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Timothy D. Messina, 31, of Morrison on East Lincolnway at North Cherry Street for a lane violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Messina was arrested and charged with
