Arts And Crafts In The Park

Savor summer’s peak at this large outdoor market featuring handmade crafts and artisanal products. Shoppers can peruse 145 booths filled with fine art, photography, clothing, floral pieces, glass work, furniture, candles and more. The fair is just one offering of the 11-day McHenry Fiesta Days, a festival celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. In addition to a wide range of items, pint-sized visitors can also take part in Maker’s Zone craft stations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Geneva Arts Fair

Tents will line Geneva’s charming Third Street as patrons meander, stopping to admire original works of art. Artists will be on hand to speak about the inspiration behind their pieces as well as the techniques they utilize. Various styles will be on display and art will take the form of paintings, photography, ceramics and jewelry as well as art rendered in wood and metal. The juried show, which has run for more than 20 years, also includes free art activities for children.

Artisan Market At Hornbaker Gardens

Join about 3,000 art lovers in browsing the 10th Annual Artisan Market at Hornbaker Gardens in Princeton 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16. About 30 fine artists will sell their work in multiple media, including ceramics, pastel, sculpture, wood, mixed media, collage, leather, photography, printmaking and more. Also available on-site will be home baked goods, wine tasting, craft beer, fresh-picked local produce, food trucks and live music.

Liberty Arts Festival In Morris

Join artists in downtown Morris on August 19 for the 2023 Liberty Arts Festival! Special events will include a Creator’s Village for children, food trucks, live performances, a Sip ‘N Shop for the stores in town and an Art Walk on the Grundy County Courthouse lawn. Artists will display and sell their creations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with prizes available for first, second and third place.
