Mr. & Mrs. Brad Schrader Kristin Pearson of Stillman Valley and Bryan Johnson of Dixon announce their engagement. The bride-elect is the daughter of Colleen Pearson of Stillman Valley. Her fiancé is the son of Dawn Johnson-Kanzler of Dixon. The bride-elect is a graduate of Stillman Valley High School. She is employed by Carlson Orthopedic Clinic. Her fiancé is a graduate of Dixon High School and Southern Illinois University. He is employed by Woodward. The couple is planning a July 2018 wedding ceremony at Kishwaukee Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Jeff Neubauer Retiring after 33 years of teaching and coaching Fun facts about our Dad: He is the oldest son of three, to Jo Ellen and the late Darrell Neubauer. He is retiring from his alma mater ... SHS Class of ‘79! He played baseball at Augustana College while earning his degree. He ran the Chicago Marathon. He loves the St. Louis Cardinals! (his dad tried out as a pitcher for the Cardinals) He followed in his dad’s footsteps by becoming a teacher and coach. He proposed to our mom after 5 months of dating. Mary Sue Farley and
Jeff Neubauer were married March 18, 1989. He’s the proud father of three: Brea (28), Drew (26), and Nate (15) Along with teaching, our dad has coached both football and basketball for 33 consecutive years. He has more than 2 years of sick days accumulated! He reads the Bible every day before leaving the house. He works out e very single day ... rarely EVER missing ... for more than 33 years! WE LOVE OUR DAD and appreciate all that he has done for us!

Retirement Tech. Sgt. Mary Kimberly
Tech. Sgt. Mary Kimberly retired from the Air Force Dec. 11, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base. Kimberly was the noncommissioned officer in charge, commander of support staff, detachment 3 561st Network Operations Squadron. She worked as lead for multiple commander driven programs within the unit. The unit provides secure network operations in support of U.S. transportation command, air mobility command, military surface deployment, and distribution command, and various geographically separated units. Kimberly entered the Air Force in 1997, and upon completion of basic military training, attended the Communications Information Manager course. She has served in various areas of cyberspace support in more than six countries. She also has deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom and twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Before assuming her position at Scott in March 2012, she served as client support administrator at the 51st Air Mobility Wing, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Kimberly was born June 20, 1974, in Dixon. She is the daughter of Josefina Rodriguez of Dixon and the late Henry Rodriguez. She is the youngest of the family, after Henry and Andy. Her family is very proud of her.
