Brittany Neisewander & RJ Shannon Ray and Cindy Neisewander of Dixon announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Neisewander, to RJ Shannon, the son of Rick and Julie Shannon of Plano, Texas. The bride-elect is a graduate of Newman Central Catholic High School, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is employed by Deloitte Consulting in Chicago. Her fiancé is a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and Texas A&M University. He currently works in leadership development for Raynor Garage Doors and resides in Chicago. The couple are planning an August 2019 wedding in Chicago. Invitations will be sent.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen G. Robison celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary Dec. 31, 2018. Glen G. Robison and Betty Colleen Taylor were married Dec. 31, 1950, at Lenapah Methodist Church in Lenapah, Oklahoma. They are the parents of Taylor (Nancy) Robison of Cypress, Texas and Glen A. Baker & Beveroth Oct. 20, 2018 Ascension Chapel, Augustana College, Rock Island

Lauren Ashley and Andrew Paul were married on Oct. 20, 2018, in Ascension Chapel at Augustana College in Rock Island. Lauren is the daughter of Ken and Lisa Baker of Grayslake. Andrew is the son of Brian and Paula Beveroth of Sterling. The maid of honor was Rebecca Schodin, friend of the bride. Br idemaids were Michele McChesney, Katie Kampwirth, Amanda Baron and Amelia Meyer. The best man was Zoee Johnson, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brad Baker, Ryan Marchand, Mark Baron

and Jon Meyer. Ring bearers were Elliott Frampton and Paxton Beveroth. Officiant was Richard Priggie, pastor. A photo was taken of the couple and more than 25 fellow Augustana Alumni who attended the wedding. A dinner reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Stern Center in Rock Island. Lauren is employed as a speech-language pathologist at River Bend School District. Andrew is employed at Wahl Clipper as a corporate staff accountant. The couple reside in Morrison.

Friends and family are invited to join Clark and Barb Smith to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. An open house will be held in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 20, 2019, at St. John Lutheran Church in Sterling. Light refreshments will be served. Clark was employed by RB&W for more than 24 years, and was one of the last “nuts in the nut house.” After Reliant Fastener acquired RB&W, he continued working for Reliant Fastener for more than 9 years, until the doors closed. He then was employed by Wahl Clipper for more than 5 years before retiring.

Barb was a home daycare provider from 1969 until her retirement in 2005. Over the years Barb had many children who she cared for. Clark & Barb enjoy spending time with their family and spoiling their grandchildren, Faith and Joseph. With their spare time, they enjoy volunteering at St. John Lutheran Church. From time to time, they enjoy bus trips to see local attractions. The open house will be hosted by their children, Marcie (Patrick) Davis, Kenneth (Kim Finnicum) Smith, and Gary (Amanda) Smith. Clark and Barb have asked that gifts be omitted, but to bring plenty of memories to share.

Celebrating 102 Lois Livengood Lois was born Jan. 11, 1917, to Abram and Grace Piatt. She married Lyle Livengood on May 29, 1941. Most of her married life was spent living on the Livengood family farm in Milledgeville. She is a former home economics teacher in Milledgeville.

As a special way to preserve these memorable occasions, quarter-, half- or full-page announcements can be purchased. Paid announcements are determined by word count: no more than 125 words for a quarter page, no more than 250 words for a half page, and up to 340 words for a full page. Those paying for announcements will have the opportunity to proof them before publication. Customers will be called when the announcement is ready to be proofed. At that time, any corrections or additions can be made as needed at SVM’s Dixon and Sterling offices. For convenience, proofs will be emailed without calls whenever possible. Photos may be submitted in color or black and white, and in any size. Emailed photos should be in JPEG format with a resolution of 200 and a width of at least 5 inches for best quality. Announcements can be printed without photos if desired. Celebration forms are available

at the Telegraph and Daily Gazette classified departments or by email. Sauk Valley Media is not responsible for errors due to unreadable information. A daytime phone number and email address (if available) are requested to help to ensure accuracy. Weddings are available in basic (free) form (one photo only of the couple), quarter-page paid (one photo), half-page paid (two photos), and full-page paid (up to four photos). The wedding form should be returned preferably within 2 to 4 months after the wedding date. Engagements are available in basic (free) form (one photo of the couple), two styles of quarter-page paid (one photo only), half-page paid (two photos), and full-page paid (up to four photos). Anniversary announcements are available in the basic (free) form (one current photo only of the couple), quarter-page paid (one or two photos), half-page paid (two photos), and full-page paid (up to four photos). Announcements beginning with

the 25th anniversary, and then in 5-year increments up to 60 years, can be at no charge. Other increments will require a paid announcement. Anniversaries from 61 to 69 can be published in the free format without the 5-year increment restriction. Special wording will require a paid announcement. Anniversaries of 70 years and more are at no charge in a paid format; the announcement size will be determined by the editor. Birthday announcements for area seniors 80 years of age and older can be at no charge without special wording. There is a charge for those younger than 80.The basic (free) form (one current photo of the individual), quarter-page paid (one or two photos), half-page paid (two photos), and full-page paid (up to four photos) are available. For 100th and older birthdays, SVM will publish free announcements in a paid format; the announcement size will be determined by the editor. Reunions are for area residents who are gathering, or have gathered, for a family or class reunion .Reunion items will be edited due to space limitations, and lists of all

those attending are not available in the free format. Photos also are not available for a free announcement, but can be used in any of the paid announcements. If a large group photo is submitted, only one can be used in the quarter-page format, one photo is recommended in the half-page format, and up to four normally can be used in the full-page format. Large group photos with long lists of names may require at least a half-page paid announcement. Note: A group photo for a class reunion only can be submitted at no charge for the Scrapbook page of SV Weekend by email to photos@saukvalley.com or in person. For publication in Celebrations, class reunions of 70 years and more will be available in the quarter-page format at no charge, with a photo allowed.
