Antique Engine & Tractor Association (AETA) hosted its annual Tractor Drive on Friday, July 22, with 45 tractors hitting the roads for a 33-mile drive in upper Henry County and lower Whiteside County. The tractors and drivers are pictured lining up before making their way to IL-92. Save the date for the 61st annual Working Farm show Sept. 16-18 at the show grounds, located at 13451 IL-92, Geneseo. This year’s show will feature John Deere tractors and equipment.

Albany Riverfest is returning Saturday, Aug. 6, with a variety of events and activities scheduled for the free and family-friendly festival.
The day starts with the Red Lippy Race for Grace held in memory of Grace Whitten, a longtime journalist and columnist for area newspapers. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., lineup is at 7:50 and the 5K starts at 8 a.m. in front of the fire station at 409 N. Church St.
All proceeds go toward dementia research and legislation through the Alzheimer’s Association of Illinois.
Online registration is open at Get Me Registered through Aug. 4, with same day registration also available. The cost is $30 with a shirt included, $20 for kids, or contribute $15 as a Ghost Runner. The Kiddie Run for ages 6 and under will be at the fire station at 9:30, with an award for all.
Registration for the annual car and bike show starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Albany Marina, 102 First Ave. The show starts at 10 and top 50 trophies will be awarded at 2 p.m. 3D Sound is the emcee. Cost per entry is $15, with r e g i s t r at i o n a l r e a d y c l o s e d . Do o r prizes are sponsored by 3M and proceeds from the car show go toward Wreaths Across America in Albany.
Other activities at the marina start at 10 a.m. with a beer garden, vendors a n d c r af t s h ow . K i d s g am e s a nd bounce houses open at 11. A Dance Show is scheduled at 3:30 and at 5 there will be a bicycle giveaway. Live music in the pavilion features The Tailfins at 5:30 and the Summer Son Band at 9. Instead of fireworks this year, organizers have opted for a golf cart and side-by-side lighted parade at 10 p.m.
