DIY Planting Party

Come on out to Hillcrest Community Center for our DIY Planting Party! This class is a workshop in which participants will create their own potted plant to take home! Participants will learn from Carol Bragdon, K-State Research and Extension Office, how to plant and take care of their very own house plant! Supplies provided.

Free Throw Contest

Come out to the newly renovated gym at Hillcrest Community Center and join in on our free throw contest! Each participant will pay $2 per entry. Each entry gets participants 25 shots. The participant who makes the most free throw shots out of 25 shots will receive a prize.

Sanctioned Horseshoes Horseshoes with Topeka Horseshoe Association

Come out and enjoy a low-impact physical activity in a supportive social environment. All skill levels are welcome and instruction will be available. Horseshoes can be provided. Participants should arrive on time to be assigned a match.

Oil and Acrylic Painting

Instructor Mary Lou Gudenkauf teaches the basics of oil or acrylics using the Old Masters technique in a friendly group setting. Both mediums can be taught. All levels will feel comfortable and receive individual attention from the instructor. A supply list can be obtained from the Center.
