Good posture – also known as neutral spine – is important for balance. When we have good posture, the muscles surrounding the spine are balanced and support the body equally. As a result, our bones and joints are in optimal alignment and wear and tear on the joints that support us is minimized. In fact, good posture has a wide range of health benefits.
