I had great opportunities to travel throughout my holidays to different places of various cultures and environment. I wanted to express the feeling of uncertainty and instability, with a glimpse of excitement, through film. In this era of the digital, the manual and analog time is slowly fading and the meaning and purpose of pictures, the freezing of time at a particular event or time, is use dispensably. Film allows you to stop and consider each shot.

The riverbank is where many seek respite from the busy city of Phnom Penh. As people gather, it
forms visual catalogue of stories and experiences
all in one place. The story of everyday struggles, triumph and life in general.
As the sun sets upon this hectic land, I could finally
catch a breath and feel my space, as a traveller, in this city.

The brothers above sit for hours, entertaining themselves with nothing but an inflatable clapper. It challenges our thinking of
what we truly need to be happy.
Film captures the moments that matters. It has a certain ‘peace’ to the photos and the subjects become immortalised in a pose that captures them beautifully. In this spread, the hot afternoon by the beach in Singapore became a good place to look far and people watch. Time really flies past when you are having fun.
“Life is but a Film Zine.”
