by Richard Bean Based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, with songs by Grant Olding. Featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of the ‘The Late Late Show’, James Corden, the hilarious West End and Broadway hit ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ returns to cinemas, to mark National Theatre Live’s 10th birthday. Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancé’s dad. They usually headline arenas and festivals, but this autumn British rock band Thunder will celebrate their 30th anniversary, with a series of up-close-and-personal shows for fans. They’ll punctuate their unscripted conversation with host Mick Wall, by playing acoustic versions of fan favourites. 13th October Some Guys Have All The Luck – The Rod Stewart Story
The Genuis of Leonard Cohen is unquestionable. After the award winning Canadian poet turned to songwriting in the early 60’s, Leonard soon wrote “ Hallelujah”...Bob Dylan had never before sung anyone elses song....but, for Leonard, Bob made an exception! Hallelujah has been covered by over 300 recording artists. Cohens final tour in 2013 took him to 31 countries, selling over 4 million tickets....By now a cult figure, Leonard was widely praised as not just a gifted poet, but a Buddhist priest and perhaps even a prophet! Including “So Long Marianne”, “Suzanne”, “The Future”, “Everybody Knows”.... this 8 piece tribute band is a sincere and even sublime show, with great musicians, a chorus of beautiful angels and that golden voice.
Paul Metcalfe is incredible as Rod and captures all the excitement, energy and charisma of the legendary performer. The first half of the show features hits from Rod’s earlier career such as ‘Handbags & Gladrags’ and ‘You Wear It Well’, ‘Stay With Me’ and ‘Twisting The Night Away’, all interwoven with interesting and amusing anecdotes. Benson is now most famous for his humorous series of novels exploring the world of Mapp and Lucia, but in the mid-twentieth century he was more renowned as the author of what he called “spook stories”. The tales are dramatic, haunting and hugely memorable. Night Terrors will be directed and dramatised by the award-winning Gareth Armstrong.

OF ERRORS 18th November Milton Jones: Milton Impossible – Warm up show
20th November Shakespeare Schools Festival 2019
One man. One Mission. Is it possible? No, not really. Milton reveals the truth about being an international spy, before being given a disappointing new identity, which forced him to appear on ‘Mock the Week’ and ‘Live at the Apollo’. But this is also a love story with a twist, or at least a really bad sprain. Just gloriously daft nonsense or is there a deeper meaning? Every man has his price. Sainsburys, where good food costs less. “He’s fast, absurd and very Funny” Radio Times ‘No-one can touch Jones when he hits his stride’ The Guardian
Camberley Theatre is proud to be part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival, in partnership with Shakespeare Schools Foundation. See Shakespeare’s timeless stories brought to life like never before, and support young people from your local community as they take to the stage. Details of the schools performing at Camberley Theatre can be found on SSF’s website: shakespeareschools.org/the-festival The 19th year of the Festival celebrates a season of ‘Infinite Variety’ as young people of all ages and backgrounds discover the possibilities presented by Shakespeare. 21st November Russian National Ballet: Swan Lake
22nd November Cabareilidh
After last year’s sell-out performances of the ‘Nutcracker’, Russian National Ballet returns with the most famous ballet of all time. ‘Swan Lake’ is one of Tchaikovsky’s best works, featuring some of ballet’s most memorable music and breathtaking dance. ‘Swan Lake’ is a tale of two young women, Odette and Odilie, who resemble each other so strikingly one can easily be mistaken for the other. It is the legend of a tragic romance in which a princess, Odette, is turned into a swan by an evil curse. Prince Siegfried chances upon a flock of swans while out hunting. When one of the swans turns into a beautiful young woman he is instantly captivated – will his love prove strong enough to break the evil spell?
Cabaret + Ceilidh = Cabareilidh! Magic! Music! Medleys! Unicycles! Expect a mash up of folk, drag and dancing like you’ve never seen before. Suitable for ages 0-100. Featuring an exciting fusion of ceilidh dancing and cabaret acts audiences will have the chance to learn folk dances collected from Surrey that have been stamped on its soil for hundreds of years accompanied by music from our very own virtuosic folk band. In between the dances there’s a chance to rest your feet and enjoy cabaret performances inspired by Surrey traditions including Apple Tree Wassailing and the legendary cross country Shrove Tuesday Football Match. Tickets include food.
With more than thirty Top 40 singles and several of the best-selling albums of the last four decades to choose from, this world class seven piece band recreates every slick groove and perfect melody from Mick Hucknall’s remarkable global career. In an unparalleled display of authenticity and style this show is guaranteed to keep the audience singing and dancing all night to hits including, ‘Money’s Too Tight To Mention’, ‘Stars’, ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’, ‘Fairground’, ‘Something Got Me Started’ and many more! Winner ‘Official U.K. Number 1’ National Tribute Music Awards

Paul Zerdin and his dysfunctional puppet family are back by popular demand with a brand-new UK tour. As well as starring everyone’s favourites Sam, Albert and Baby, there’ll be his new bodyguard, an urban fox, and a talking ice cream, all using state of the art animatronic wizardry and a unique blend of edgy comedy. It’s a quirk of British theatre that a man can get a standing ovation for spending the best part of 75 minutes on a stage talking to himself. “If you think the words ‘brilliant’ and ‘ventriloquist’ have no place in the same sentence, go and see Paul Zerdin for some brutal re-education” Evening Standard

30th January Dance To The Music
31st January Sinderella
See two-time Olivier Award winners, Lindsay Duncan and Alex Jennings, in this brand-new play by Simon Wood, live from the National Theatre in London. It’s a summer’s morning in 1988 and Tory politician Robin Hesketh has returned home to the idyllic Cotswold house he shares with his wife of 30 years, Diana. But all is not as blissful as it seems. Diana has a stinking hangover, a fox is destroying the garden, and secrets are being dug up all over the place. As the day draws on, what starts as gentle ribbing and marital scrapping, quickly turns to blood-sport. Don’t miss this witty and devastating portrait of the governing class, directed by Simon Godwin.
‘Dance To The Music’ is a sumptuously beautiful, glamorous dance show created, directed and choreographed by ex Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff. Kristina is excited to tour the show with even more fabulous costumes, stunning vocals and breath-taking choreography. Hosted by heartthrob Jake Quickenden who first found fame with on the ‘X Factor’, ‘I’m A Celebrity’ and ‘Dancing On Ice’ and an exciting troupe of dancers featuring South African Ballroom champions Marcella Solimeo and Dylan Daniels, this promises to be an evening not to be missed.
Joseph Purdy Productions are delighted to be bringing adult pantomime to Camberley Theatre this January. You are invited to join us to see if true love will still prevail in our naughty little fairy tale! Join Cinderella to see if, despite the best efforts of her two minging step sisters, she still makes it to the ball, with the help of her Fairy Drag Henny (Stacy Lane Matthew). Will Prince Charming get down on one knee, or will Buttons get there first?! With glittering sets, sparkling costumes and more innuendo than you ever thought possible... complete with a star line-up too, this promises to be biggest ball in town! Over 16s only, contains swearing.
