Camberley Theatre
I can’t begin to describe how wonderful it is to be writing this piece in our new season brochure! We’ve all been waiting a long time to do this again and feel the buzz and thrill of live entertainment. Nothing beats the sound of 400 people clapping and cheering at the end of the show! I know for some of you, the thought of returning to indoor venues may be nerve-wracking, but please be assured that we’re doing all we can to make your visit comfortable and safe. As ever we’ll follow government guidance and to see the latest measures we have in place please visit our website or contact the Box Office. While we’ve had to postpone so many shows since we first closed our doors in March 2020, it does mean that this season is a bumper one; full of fantastic, top quality shows with more comedy, music and entertainment than ever before! We have debut performances from Britain’s Got Talent stars Jon Courtenay, Steve Royle and Nabil Abdulrashid and are delighted to welcome back comedy favourites such as Paul Zerdin, Omid Djalili, Iain Stirling, Ed Byrne and Luisa Omielan. For live music lovers, I’m thrilled to welcome back the immensely talented and award winning singer/songwriter Nerina Pallot and we also

Tickets for all of these and much more can be found on our website, so do head over to CamberleyTheatre.co.uk for more info. 27 September Gyles Brandreth – Break A Leg
As Take That celebrate over thirty years as the UK’s number one boy band, The Take That Experience mark over a decade together as their most popular and recognised tribute act.
Everyone knows that koalas love a cuddle but, the truth is, that wasn’t always the case. So how exactly did the koala learn to hug?
They say all political careers end in tears. In Brandreth’s case it’s tears of laughter as the actor, author, ex-MP, ‘One Show’ reporter and ‘QI’, ‘Have I Got News For You’ and ‘Countdown’ star is back on tour with his new show celebrating all things theatrical. Without hesitation or repetition (and just a touch of deviation), ‘Just a Minute’ regular, Gyles delivers a dazzling evening of wit, wisdom, high drama, low comedy, and hilarious name-dropping.
With acclaimed vocal performances, replica costumes and iconic dance routines, The Take That Experience recreate the magic of Take That.
Ten years after the publication of Steven Lee’s best-selling book, Karen The Koala and her fabulous furry friends are back to answer that age old question and remind us once again why there’s nothing quite as wonderful as a nice warm hug. As an extra treat, author Steven Lee will be available to sign copies of How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales which will be on sale at a specially reduced rate after the show.
