Thursday 23rd February Carl Donnelly: Bad Man Tings

Thursday 23rd February NT Live: Saint Joan

Saturday 25th February Kast-Off Kinks

Join twice Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated Carl Donnelly for an all new hour of funnies as he takes us through his thoughts on reaching the ripe old age of 34, the age that is statistically the happiest of your life. Following the mess that was his late twenties and early thirties (involving divorce, depression, hallucinogens and worse) Carl has now seemingly found peace in being a vegetable planting, self-hating liberal with a wide array of useless kitchen utensils and is trying to work out which life he prefers.

Josie Rourke (Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Coriolanus) directs Gemma Arterton (Made in Dagenham) as Joan of Arc in this electrifying production.

Back by popular demand, The Kast-Off Kinks are former members of the legendary band ‘The Kinks’, getting back together to re-live the good times.

Bernard Shaw’s classic play follows the life and trial of a young country girl who declares a bloody mission to drive the English from France. As one of the first Protestants and nationalists, she threatens the very fabric of the feudal society and the Catholic Church across Europe.

This great line-up features Mick Avory (the original drummer on all the classic hits from 1964-84), John Dalton, Ian Gibbons and Dave Clarke. Expect all the hits, including You Really Got Me, Sunny Afternoon, Lola, Deadend Street, Waterloo Sunset, Apeman, Come Dancing, and many more for a great night out!

Wednesday 8th March Cilla and the Shades of the 60s

Thursday 9th March NT Live: Hedda Gabler

Thursday 9th March Steve Bugeja: Unpronounceable

This stunning and elegant review of the life of Cilla Black soars its way through the 60s. Starring Liverpool born Victoria Jones (BBC’s The One & Only) as Cilla, singing songs including ‘You’re My World’ and ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’ while the Shades trio swing through a decade of hits by Cilla’s friends such as ‘I Only Want to Be With You’ and ‘River Deep Mountain High’.
