LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Good Evening, Familia!
Welcome to the 2023 Gala Event at the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey!
We’re delighted to have you all here today to celebrate the holiday season and our community’s entrepreneurial spirit.
This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with SHCCNJ members and supporters, share our culture, and strengthen our professional networks. We’re confident these relationships will evolve into long-lasting partnerships and friendships extending well beyond the new year.
As we gather for a special evening of celebration, we must also reflect on the lessons we’ve learned over the past years. We have been called upon to adapt to unexpected changes and challenges. Still, we’ve persevered and used our experiences to create powerful, actionable best practices that will help us continue to grow our businesses and support our families.
It’s been inspirational to witness our community’s consistent ability to turn challenges into opportunities, and we’re incredibly proud of your accomplishments. We’re also thrilled to be a part of such a vibrant, community-building chamber of small businesses!
As a reliable advocate and support system for those seeking guidance and assistance, SHCCNJ expanded our offerings in 2023 thanks to new partnerships. This ensured small businesses had the resources and know-how to apply for federal, state, and local grant programs.
Know that the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey continually works to empower you with the tools and resources you need to prosper. In that spirit, we invite you to apply to our programs, including the upcoming Hispanic Entrepreneurship Training Program, which provides free culturally and linguistically appropriate business education and mentorship services to Hispanic small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Lastly, we sincerely appreciate the continuous dedication and commitment from our members, board members, volunteers, staff, partners, and everyone who has contributed to our collective achievements over the past year.
Join us in a toast wishing all of you – our peers, friends, and family – a healthy and prosperous New Year 2024, filled with opportunities for growth and harmony.
Let’s celebrate the resilience of the Hispanic business community and recognize that we are exceptional role models of the American Dream. When we work hard, we can reap the fruits of our labor or, as we say in Colombia,
