Woven Edges A small intervention with a larger meaning. The brief was to create a resting space in Stanley park on a 50sqm site of choice.
Beavers are Keystone species who help restore water systems and build ecosystems for various other species. The project promotes an increase in the beaver count of the site along with encouraging a human beaver exchange.

The structure would be made out of woven twigs (taking inspiration from how beavers create beaver lodges) . With time, beavers might take over the space and use the twigs from the structure to create beaver lodges. This would make it a space for humans to give up control over there infrastructure to bring ecological benefits.

Multi-Sensorial Healing Garden The garden provides access to the waterfront for those with compromised mobility, particularly the elderly, and encourages gentle, restorative physical exercise in an inviting, engaging, naturalistic environment. The project aims at creating an interesting and accessible shoreline with natural experiences, aroma therapy, ample sunlight and negative ion recharge for elderly with reduced mobility.
