As part of its public service and outreach mission, the Institute of Higher Education sponsors the Georgia College Advising Corps, a college access program that works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and historically underrepresented students who enroll in postsecondary education. In 2019-2020, twenty-three GCAC college advisers will provide one-on-one support to high school seniors as they navigate the complex college admissions process.
