A famous quote from the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This single statement reflects the idea of the series and is also a lesson for life. The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven high fantasy novels by renowned author C.S. Lewis. Although not thought of as movie material because of its unreal setting, with the CGI effects in use to give justice to the pictographic description in the books, they could be made into movies.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Movie The story revolves around four children, the Pevensie siblings Peter, Lucy, Edmund and Lucy who find a wardrobe that will transport them to the fantasy land of Narnia. There, they ally with a powerful and
majestic lion, Aslan to defeat the White Witch in the first series. The second series is about the children returning after 1300 years to help Prince Caspian save Narnia from the clutches of his evil uncle, King Miraz. The third movie pictures the youngest of the children in Narnia where they have come to help King Caspian save the island from a dark force. Throughout the movie, each child has to conquer his/her shortcomings to move forward and enable them to win the war.
The Real Heroes Everyone who has seen and enjoyed the movie, children and adults alike, accept the fact that the talent showcased by the child actors was exceptional. Although Aslan, voiced by Liam Neeson, is the hero of the series, the movie wouldn’t have been such a hit if not for the four children who conveyed the essence of the movie to the fullest. The youngest child Lucy portrayed by Georgie Henley was just 10 years old when she started acting for the first movie. The amount of effort put by them is commendable. Sheila Gray was the acting coach for The Chronicles of Narnia. The acting genius of the children was brought out by this famous coach, who has other golden feathers to her name such as The Transporter, Homeboy, and The Naked Brother’s Band, among many others. She is the owner of one of the most prominent acting schools in New York. She has a very posh clientele including Jane Adams, Naomi Campbell, Mariah Carey, Ashley Greene, etc. She herself worked as an actress for many years before she realized her true calling and became an acting coach. Her methodical way of coaching and the versatility it offers makes her one of the best acting teachers ever.
