AAKMU IMPERTINENT COMMUNITY SPACE ACADEMIC WORK IDL Lake, kukatpally, hyderabad.
The site assigned is adjacent to the Mumbai highway (national highway 65), which has enormous potential for new recreational developments as it is surrounded by many residential developments and is one of the most accessible locations for the public. The main access road to the site already has a night food street that is successfully operating, so the location requires no introduction for recreational purposes.

wooden truss is choosen as a long span structure for the indoor sports and gym. each truss is designed to a diffrent length with respect to the spacing required.
A spine path is developed which is non vehicular and can only be accessed by the pedestrians and it connects all the spaces located in the community center. To bring a market like atmosphere in the spine hexagon tiles are hung parametrically which gives the spine a festival vibe thought the year.

ANDC COMPETITION
Jublee bus station, hyderabad.
Mobility spaces are becoming hotspots for transmission of diseases and hence caged people inside their homes since the crowd is not allowed at public spaces how can these spaces transform? how do we change the idea of public mobility. The briefis is to redesign the basic space such as bus terminals which has huge implications on today’s situation and further similar scenarios such as pandemic. hence jublee bus station which is one of the busiest in hyderabad has be selected.

AXO METRIC DETAIL OF SITE
Static behaviour of the flooring material causes a frizz sensation when in contact preventing proximity with foreign surfaces.
The waffle roof was made to give a sense of direction to the users. the outward radial path guides them to their respective terminals without experiencing close contact with others.
the waffle roof was made to give a sense of direction to the users. the outward radial path guides them to their respective terminals without experiencing close contact with others.
the stalactite columns help the roof blend into the ground seamlessly .
The no-contact entrances are at the west and lead outwards towards the bus bay, making circulation hassle-free.the administration block is in the north and the cloak room is on the south.
The parking is underground so that people do not have to park their vehicles far away and walk to the station. this is a major problem in the existing design

Iteration 3
Because of the sun’s high altitude in summers, the blocks are staggered and arranged such that they self shade themselves . During winters, due to the azimuth angle of sun, the required warmth penetrates into the habitable areas.
N
The apartment is stretched and arranged along the site in such a way that it gives a large shaded area on the site’s northern side for green areas. 19

Net zero acheivements
common areas are equipped with energy efficient equipment and the use of efficient 5 star equipment and lighting. helped to achieve in the final EPI value of 26.11 KWh/yr/m². A solar PV plant is proposed to set up on 90% of roof of the building with 28.28 KWh/ year/m² capacity making energy required zero.
a series of Pressure Reducing Valves(PRV’s) are placed at strategic intervals that are set at varied pressure settings water pressure in the range of 21 to 29 psi

Taking advantage of the staggered block form, a tensile canopy is designed and installed on the top floor to protect these living areas from the heat gain.
The water consumption was brought down from the base case of 135 lpd to 75 lpd by efficient use of water saving fixtures, front load washing machines. The total occupant
Long columns which act as shear walls are used in between the floor plate without intrusion to maintain the lateral stability. Shear wall is used to construct the lift core walls.
Slender beams and columns are used in the chosen structural system. This function expands the flat’s carpet area. All of the electric fixtures are concealed into the slab thus making the ceiling unnecessary for functional purpose.
Balconies were installed with safety invisible grills installed on the balconies. They’re composed of high-quality stainless steel cable (316L GRADE)
