Volunteer for Better Health As we all age, we become more concerned with having better health. Of course, exercise, healthy lifestyle and wise supplementation are the vanguards of healthy aging. But what if I could help you erase 5 years of aging? How wonderful would that be for you? What if becoming part of a movement larger than yourself could be the answer? And what if it took less than 1% of your time? Studies have shown that Volunteering can erase as many as 5 years of aging! Researchers found that Volunteers are as healthy as 5-years younger nonvolunteers. Now that is great news. Volunteer a few hours a
physically and mentally reduces stress and inflammation. So the next time you are asked to attend a Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, Lion’s Club etc, smile and say Yes! Becoming involved with service clubs will have a positive outcome no matter how “busy” you think you are. Setting aside less than 1% of your time for others is not asking much.
