Pelham’s Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting It is a great opportunity to come together as a community and kick-off the holiday season. A few of the items in the program have changed over the years, but the feeling of Christmas and community remains a constant. This year you can experience these feelings at our Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, November 29th at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena. Guests to the event will enjoy holiday music from the Pelham

High School Jazz Band as they enter the venue. The Pelham Beautification Board will distribute 1,000 Christmas ornaments in the main lobby prior to the event. Inside the Main Arena, Christmas Music performed by the children in our community will fill the air. Players from the Pelham Mite Under 8 Division will entertain with their hockey skills and students from the Pelham Skate School and the Birmingham Figure

Skating Club will dazzle the crowd with performances on ice. Santa Claus will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and then returns for visits after the annual Pelham Community Christmas Tree Lighting from 7:30pm until 8:45 p.m. The Pelham High School Culinary Arts Program will provide hot cocoa and cookies in the ballroom with Christmas music provided by Blaze Entertainment.
