Doodle’s
Doodle’s in Cahaba Heights is definitely my favorite. In the summer, you can find my friends and me there almost every night on the lawn. It is such a fun atmosphere, and my personal favorite flavor is cookies and cream.
For a Good Cause
RISE
One of my favorite community events is RISE day in April! It is so awesome to see the whole community come together to support the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. The luminary ceremony is such a special way to honor our friends and family who have had cancer.
Go Rebels
2017 Final Four
One of my favorite Vestavia memories is when the VHHS Boys’ Basketball team went to the Final Four in 2017. It seemed like half of the arena was filled with Vestavia fans in white to support our Rebels! Dr. Burgess leading the student section in the rebel chant was one of the coolest experiences.
Vestavia Views
Sibyl Temple
Sibyl Temple is a staple of Vestavia. The views overlooking the city of Birmingham are incredible, and it is a beautiful place to take pictures, have a picnic with friends, or watch the sunset. In the photo I was taking pictures at the temple for Miss Vestavia Hills with Abbie Stockard (on the left).
Breakfast Time
Ranch House
Ranch House on Columbiana Road is one of my favorite breakfast spots. I go there almost every week to meet for breakfast before school with a couple of my best friends. The Fitness Breakfast and Fruity French toast are my go-tos. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is hard to beat, and their service is top-notch.
