Shelby County Diamond Awards – Connections Luncheon The Diamond Awards Luncheon, scheduled for December1, will be a special time to recognize the “best of the best” for their daily contributions to Shelby County’s outstanding quality of life. The Awards, presented in 2022 by Shelby County Reporter, are designed to honor those organizations and individuals who help make Shelby County the best place to live and do business in our state. There will be one recipient recognized in each of the categories: “Non-Profit”, “Public Servant” and “Citizen of the Year”. The

Summer Rhea is the Business Development Manager at Express Employment Professionals, a locally owned workforce management and staffing agency that specializes in Professional, Office Services, Skilled Trade, and Light Industrial staffing. She attended college at the University of North Alabama and has held sales and marketing roles in the Medical Device and Real Estate Investment industries before joining the Express Employment team. In addition to being an Ambassador, she also serves in the Career Readiness work group for the Chamber. She is an active member of the Junior League of Birmingham and serves on the Young Professionals Board of Directors for the Alabama Wildlife Center, as well as the Business Management Advisory Board for Pelham City Schools and the Women in Lead-
