Soho Standard My favorite place to grab a cocktail is Soho Standard at Happy Hour, which is from 4-to-6 p.m. every day! I usually order a boulevardier and a few of their tasty appetizers. They also serve Daughters Baking cakes for dessert, which are divine!
Shopping Local
Seibel’s I love shopping! I love to pop into Seibel’s for a unique gift because they always have my favorite bloody mary mix and some neat leather goods (like a Bible cover) that would make great keepsake gifts. We also always get a Christmas ornament there every year! Sometimes I just like to go and admire their hanging day beds!
Holiday Sentiments
Homewood Christmas Parade My favorite holiday celebration is The Downtown Open House and Christmas Parade! The camaraderie and festivities on 18th street always get me excited for the upcoming Christmas season. I also love the witch’s ride. I live on Manhattan, so it’s a lot of fun to sit in the yard and watch the witches’ parade.
Working Out in Style
Three15, PureBarre, & Battle Republic I love all the fitness options! I recently did a Homewood fitness spotlight on the chamber’s Instagram, where I tested out different fitness options around Homewood including Three15, PureBarre, and Battle Republic. They were all so unique and fun in their own ways. I feel so fortunate to have so many choices within walking distance of where I live.
Tasty Eats
Shiki My favorite place to eat in Homewood is Shiki! We order a combination of Opor Ayam, Massaman Chicken and a hangover roll to share around the table. They won the People’s Choice Award at Taste of Homewood last month!
