A Place to Pray
The Prayer Chapel
The small Prayer Chapel at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church is open 24/7 for anyone who needs a quiet moment alone with the Lord in His house.
A Majestic View
My Parents’ Home
Between my mother’s beautiful gardens and the breathtaking view, there is no place on earth more beautiful than my parents’ backyard on Panorama Drive. Since 1980, they have hosted Easter egg hunts, wedding proposals, two actual weddings, baby showers, Thanksgiving games, Santa Claus appearances and countless other celebrations in this beautiful space.
VHHS’s Fine Arts Program

Impacting Lives
Vestavia Hills High School, Room A241
For the past five years, I have spent most of my time in this room with Emily Erwood, teaching and sponsoring Youth Leadership Vestavia Hills. It is a place I love in a school I love. I graduated from here in 1982 with my future husband, and all three of my adult children are also graduates. It is a very special place to me and many others.
