SOUTH CITY THEATRE

The Shelby County Arts Council hosts exhibitions and regularly invites local and touring musicians to perform in its Black Box Theatre in its arts center in COLUMBIANA. UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO CENTER FOR THE ARTS

The University of Montevallo Department of Theatre presents several shows on-campus every year at its new Center for the Arts just one block from downtown MONTEVALLO’S Main Street. You can also find an art gallery, sculpture garden and pocket park at the facility. montevallo.edu

MONTEVALLO MAIN STREET PLAYERS

Founded in 1972 by professors at the University of Montevallo, Montevallo Main Street Players is the oldest active community theater organization in Shelby County.
