CAB to hold 2000s Potluck meeting to KishHealth event tribute auditions help veggie lovers promotes women Northern Star staff

Campus Activities Board will hold auditions for “106th and NIU: 2000s Tribute” 5-7 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom and 6-8 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Holmes Student Center, Carl Sandburg Auditorium. The show, which will feature tribute performances of 2000s culture, will be 7-11 p.m. April 16 in the Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom, according to CAB’s website. Other upcoming CAB events for Spring 2016 include “Love Games” from 7-10 p.m. Wednesday in the Holmes Student Center, Carl Sandburg Auditorium and “Masters of the Mix: Faceoff Edition” 7-10 p.m. March 3 in the Holmes Student Center, Regency Room. munity Gardens will hold a potluck organizing meeting for local residents who have a desire to harvest vegetables in their own garden plot this spring. This event will take place 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at the DeKalb Senior Center, 330 Grove St. The garden plots are located on Dresser Road. The plots are 15 feet wide by 30 feet long. The gardens rent for $20 per season. “This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to grow their own garden space and be supported for their first year of gardening and to learn about opportunities that Dresser Garden provides,” said Dan Kenney, executive director of DeKalb County Community Gardens.
