Pinterest is the first place men and women go to check out creative ideas, whether it’s to get inspired quick for sculpting the perfect summer body or learning new dinner ideas – Pinterest never lets us down. Pinterest is an online bulletin board that allows users to share their favored topics by pinning them onto their boards for users to see and share. Pinterest makes it easier to search workouts that you can do in a short time, making it college friendly. There are more commonly searched workouts like, “30-day challenges” or “workouts to build your muscles in 10 days,” according to Pinterest. The latest trending pins for working out include quick combinations of leg, abdomen or arm workouts. These 10-15 workouts touch every part of the body someone would want to work on. Some students have this misconception that if you don’t workout for at least one hour then you’re doing nothing for your body. But,

Junior marketing major Kelsey McKinney said that she doesn’t workout as much as she would like to. “Between school and work, it’s hard to find time to even remember to workout,” McKinney said. “Pinterest is super helpful for coming up with ideas when I want to find a quick workout.” We don’t even realize short workouts are becoming more common and actually work. Taking 10 minutes out of your day to workout sounds more motivating than taking one hour out of your day. You can stay fit in increments as short as four and five minutes at a time and short bouts of exercise shaves inches off the hips and waistline, as well as helps to lower blood pressure, according to Fitstar.com. Next time you need a quick workout, Pinterest could be the best choice to find one. It’s an effective way for the college student to find ideas for a 5-10 minute workout, getting in shape and living a better lifestyle.
