Matthew Erickson’s mother, Sue Erickson, spoke Saturday during NIU’s third annual Dance Marathon in the Chick Evans Field House. During Dance Marathon, an event that raises money for Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, students danced, played games, participated in raffles and listened to personal stories given by families who have been in situation’s like Matthew and Sue Erickson’s. This year Dance Marathon raised $35,061.
