When it comes to the DC and Marvel movie release face-off, Marvel’s funding and characters give it the upper hand. These last two months have been a fantastic time to be a comic book fan. Many Marvel characters are not invincible, and, as in the case of Spider-Man, they barely make enough money to survive. These relatable qualities allow heroes to connect to a wider audience at a more personal level. The young heroes of Marvel also appeal to a younger generation of those who wish to change the world.
