These trainings include Rape Aggression Defense, CPR certification and an active threat community response program. In addition, the department strives to provide a safe and secure environment to allow students to engage in academic pursuits by receiving escorts to and from night class by our Huskie Student Patrol, using the Huskie Safe Line for late night transportation and community relations programs inside the residence halls with the presence of police officers who have established relationships through these liaison programs. Community involvement keeps our campus and community safe. You can practice good crime prevention by locking your vehicle and residence hall doors, not leaving valuables unguarded and by calling the Department of Police and Public Safety if you see something suspicious.
