First home football game

The Huskies played their first home football game against the San Diego State Aztecs 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Huskie Stadium. Huskie fans covered themselves in red clothes and NIU gear for the event.

Mission, Siberian Husky and NIU mascot, greets fans outside the stands before the game. Fans tailgate before the 2:30 p.m. football game this past Saturday outside the Huskie Stadium. The Huskies kick off their first home game with sophomore quarterback Ryan Graham against the Aztecs. Senior wide receiver Kenny Golladay scored the first touchdown in the second quarter only to lose 42-28.
