The CleanTeam By Kevin May, Director of Housekeeping Services
T
he Housekeeping team accounts for nearly 13% of the employee population at Shell Point. They are responsible for cleaning the interiors and exteriors of every building from Waterside to The Island. Additionally, the amazing housekeeping employees are responsible for cleaning homes,
power washing, trash and recycle collection, carpet and tile cleaning, special services and window washing. The Housekeeping team is diverse, with staff from 14 different countries around the world. To help celebrate that diversity, the Housekeeping department
hosts an annual team potluck lunch. Employees prepare dishes from their home countries, ranging from main entrĂŠes and side dishes to desserts. Many team members try new foods for the first time while enjoying music and the company of their fellow employees.
