Amber is a local Realtor, volunteer for South Mason Fire & Rescue, active member in her church, volunteer coach for youth sports, and a Board President for the Shelton Wrestling Club. Amber firmly believes if her children learn by example, it’ll create a snowball effect with her children loving and involving others. She grew up in a family that relied heavily on the kindness and generosity of the community which has inspired her to this day to keep that same selfless spirit and pay it forward to others.
Amy Cooper is a hardworking, creative entrepreneur, and loving mom. Her greatest accomplishment is creating a business, Cooper Studios, with her husband. As soon as they started, Amy and her husband eagerly participated in downtown events, captured memories for the Forest Festival, and photographed students at the high school. Outside of their business, Amy has been the chairperson for Shelton Downtown Merchants and a board member for the Forest Festival for about a decade. She is passionate about a thriving downtown and helping small businesses to succeed. Amy has planned events like the Cruisin’ Through Time Car Show, Halloween Spooktacular, and Holiday Magic. She holds her head high and helps our community when it needs it.”

She has lived in Shelton for over 23 years and loves our “little town spirit” plus, how the community rallies around each other in times of need. Eileen is most proud of raising her daughter, Kristyn, to be a loving and hardworking member of society. Despite an ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis, Eileen remains an active member involved in the community and tries to spread kindness to anyone she meets. She is the president of the Mason General Hospital Foundation Board (MGHF) which puts on events like Fantasy Forest for the community and raises funds for the hospital. Her company has sponsored MGHF’s event “The Father Daughter Night Out” for more than 10 years. Eileen is also a dedicated member of Shelton Presbyterian Church’s Praise Band and Choir and a co-moderator of the Deacons ministry. As one nominator said, Eileen has “a loving and kind heart and is usually seen with a big smile on her face as she tries to help someone in need.”
